SocInvest 09
12 February 2009, The Palace Hotel
Following the hugely successful SocInvest '08 in London in March, SocInvest ‘09 will take place on the 12 February 2009 at The Palace Hotel Manchester.
Still retaining its national focus, SocInvest will further explore the latest innovation and best practice in local authority regeneration finance. It brings together the public and private sectors to discuss the current economic climate and understand the most effective new funding vehicles for their particular large-scale regeneration programmes and will look at future financing mechanisms and routes (and how to set them up).

The Coastal and Waterside Regeneration Conference

3Fox International will be holding the UK’s first gathering of local authorities, regeneration agencies, developers, architects and engineers to discuss the biggest issues faced by coastal and riverside regeneration programmes. A day of in-depth analysis of key schemes and the issues faced will be preceded by a welcome networking reception on the eve of the event at The Russell Hotel.

London Major Projects Seminars 2009
- planning, financing and managing projects across London’s boroughs
Following the success of the first ever LMPF (London Major Projects Forum) held on the 9th September in London’s Bloomsbury, a high-level summit that brought together two hundered directors of major projects, regeneration, planning and project finance across London’s local authorities, London Borough heads and their developer and project manager partners are developing, with 3Fox Conferences, further high-level discussion and workshops in a series of full-day or half-day seminars. Visitors can work through some of the complexities of planning, delivering and funding major projects in and across the capital in a programme of project management focused events at Londons’ most exiting new business and arts event space- at Kings Place at Kings Cross throughout Spring/Summer 2009.
Topics for discussion in 2009 will include:
High rise and high-density developments
Securing finance stakeholer management for London projects – leveraging the value of the land
Allocation of land-use and masterplanning
Gap funding
Securing planning permission
Remediation and on-site progress
Working with transport and infrastructure agencies.
Similar meetings will take place in Newcastle, Manchester and Birmingham in summer 2009.
