2000 new jobs set for Salford

Bradford pushes ahead with £2.5 billion of regeneration

Many regeneration projects across the country have stalled but, while schemes in the city have been affected, the bulk of the programme is progressing rapidly.
Bradford’s landmark regeneration project, the City Park, is well under way and will be completed by summer 2011. The six-acre park will contain the largest city centre water feature in the UK, creates a major events space and is already attracting direct investment and developer interest. read more
